Shadows of a Mother's Dream

A Story of Hope, Resilience, and Love by Helena Han Wagner

“Even in darkness, the human spirit remembers how to reach for the light.”

A Memoir of Survival, Strength, and the Healing Power of Love

Set against the backdrop of post-war Korea, Shadows of a Mother’s Dream traces the emotional journey of a young girl navigating the chaos of trauma, abandonment, and generational pain. With unflinching honesty and quiet grace, Helena Han Wagner revisits her past – not to relive it, but to reclaim it.

This isn’t just a story of hardship. It’s a tribute to the resilience of the human heart, the quiet strength of women, and the love that flickers even in life’s darkest moments.

“Beautifully written and heartbreakingly honest… I couldn’t put it down.”

“A touching, deeply personal account that inspires hope.”
